This kit of all-new components includes 4 gears, 3 shaft-gear spacers, 1 gear key, 1 intermediate output shaft, 6 thrust washers, 2 axle bushings, 3 axle lock rings, one 8-oz. bottle of Peerless Bentonite lubricant, color-coded instructions, and a tube of case sealant. This kit changes the final-drive ratio from 8.02:1 to 2.31:1. To complete the conversion, you will also need a 1-piece "live axle", like a go-kart or ATV. Due to the variety of available axle lengths, end styles, material alloys, etc., the live-axle shafts can be purchased separately from www.acmemowersports.com, www.heftsventures.com, or www.shakyparts.com.
