This full size, beautiful piece of artwork will actually function as an indicator of wind direction. Manufactured by one of the very few companies that make decorative and functional weather vanes in the U.S., you can be assured that this is a durable piece that will hold its value for many, many years. Its made of heavy guage steel thats powder coated with a textured black finish designed to withstand the harshest of environments. The art and arrow have a nylon plug fixed into the bearing tube. This top is placed on the base which has a stainless steel "post" designed to avoid rusting. Combined the nylon plug and stainless steel post create a long lasting self-lubricated bearing point. (NIB) The assembled weather vane measures 24"wide x 24"tall (with a 9.5" dia. base). It weighs approximately 4 pounds. The base will be shipped to you in a protective box and the art/arrow in a cardboard flat to avoid bending during shipment. "Brand New In Box" We DO NOT charge the buyer anything for handling costs. U.S. shipments will be shipped to you via UPS standard ground or USPS parcel post. Our goal is to ship all items within 7 days of payment, often sooner.
