I'm selling a set of 5 LED bulbs with lamp clamps. Here are the lamp clamps, these are what i used here.http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1286115In short, i have used the reds for 18hrs a day for one week, and the blues for 18hrs a day for three weeks. I was using just the blue lights with my grow trying to veg some tomatoes and tulips. Found the blue bulbs alone were not enough, so i added the red bulbs and growth picked up. However, and regardless of what the manufacturer states, one of these bulbs is not enough to grow a plant, and with my case, would not have been enough alone to grow anything over two feet. I wanted to get some large tomatoes, so i was looking for something more like three foot plants. So, i did a lot of digging around and found a couple case studies where they did a combination grow with CFLs and LEDs of around the same output of the bulbs here, and got great results. That was my plan, but my roommates were already unhappy with the fact that i had the bulbs on for as long as i did, and me adding more light made them unhappy. I tried explaining the small amount of power that was being used, but they wouldn't listen, so instead of creating a situation, i'm just going to wait until i get my own place.
