These carbon dioxide generators convert liquid propane or natural gas into CO2, in order to supply this vital gas to growing plants. Actually, two types of CO2 generators are offered. The first type is conventional. The second, being the most interesting to the indoor gardener, features a heat exchanger removing up to 30% of the heat produced in excess by the gas combustion, to limit the effect of high temperature on plants growing in closed environments. While removing excess heat through a set of ducts, the LP4X and LP8X carbon dioxide generators do not affect the actual CO2 concentration, as none is vented out if the piping is air tight.
